We are fortunate to live in such a vibrant community, surrounded by the some of the most beautiful scenery in the country. The Pride team is based in the town of Oakhurst, California, close to the communities of Bass Lake, Coarsegold, North Fork and of course, Yosemite National Park.
It is the crown jewel of the Central Sierra Nevada Mountains. Beautiful homes and lots nestled along the shoreline, and only a half-hour from Yosemite National Park. This is a popular year-round resort for watersports with a wide range of dining and lodging facilities. Discover what local people have tried to keep secret for years—a beautiful, pristine paradise which has become a popular location for movie film companies. And you can have a home there.
The name says it all. This is where gold was first discovered in Eastern Madera County. Today it is reminiscent of the days when ranching was king. Cattle ranching is still prominent in Coarsegold’s economy. And each May the Coarsegold Rodeo celebrates the western frontier which abounds in this thriving foothill community. Find your piece of the western frontier in beautiful ranchland and homesites with breathtaking views of the high country right in your own backyard.
The pioneer spirit is alive and well in this former logging community which celebrates the Fourth of July each year with their famous Loggers Jamboree, including saw bucking, log rolling, and tree climbing. You will find quality of life; a strong sense of community; and cultural and recreational activities. Just look in North Fork where beautiful ranchland and homesites are nestled amid towering oaks, pines, and cedars, and with year-round streams and creeks.
A community of 13,000 people, Oakhurst is the hub for economic and social activity for much of Eastern Madera County, including the Central Sierra Nevada Mountains. Each Memorial Day and Labor Day, it is the scene of the famous Peddler’s Fair, and in September Mountain Heritage Days recall days gone by when Oakhurst was first settled in the 1850’s. Set in the beautiful Oakhurst Valley and less than an hour from Yosemite National Park, it is a bustling mountain community that offers a repertoire theater, musical groups, children’s museums, sports and other activities and a wide range of service organizations. Beautiful homes, parcels, and business opportunities are available.
